Would you recommend visiting the World at Spring Break (March/April) or Thanksgiving time? We are considering both, but are having a hard time deciding based on weather, crowds, decorations, and atmosphere. Do you have a personal preference?

    Hello Abby!

What a great question!  If I were to choose between Spring Break or Thanksgiving to visit Walt Disney World, I would choose Thanksgiving hand down!

Now, Spring Break week and Thanksgiving week are both VERY busy, so that really is not a determining factor in this decision.

For me, what puts Thanksgiving over Spring Break is the following:

    *  I love the cooler weather during Thanksgiving.  Our last November trip, the temperature was in the mid-70's during the day and mid-60's at night!

    *  The Christmas decorations are truly MAGICAL!  If you have never seen Walt Disney World as a "Winter Wonderland", then you MUST make your reservations now!  I promise you not be disappointed!

I will tell you that if your schedule is flexible, I would recommend coming to Walt Disney World the week BEFORE Thanksgiving week.  The crowds are low, the weather is great, and the decorations are incredible!  It will be a total win/win/win for your family!

If you need anything else, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!

    Wes
