Hiya Audrey,
Welcome to planDisney! I was super excited to see your question because it combines two of my favorite topics,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and time management (I'm a bit of a nerd). One of my favorite core memories is attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party a few years ago. It felt like we had Magic Kingdom Park all to ourselves, and it was so magical when it snowed on Main Street, U.S.A.
With your ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you are able to enter
Magic Kingdom Park starting at 4:00 pm on your party day, which in my experience, is plenty of time to get in all that you want to do at Magic Kingdom Park. What works well for my family and what I would recommend is visiting a different Theme Park in the morning before heading to Magic Kingdom for the party. As I mentioned, you will have plenty of time to explore Magic Kingdom during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, so the best use of your time would be spent at another park, such as Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park or EPCOT. We prefer Disney's Animal Kingdom on party days because it closes earlier than the other Theme Parks. We hop on
Kilimanjaro Safaris as soon as the park opens (the hotter it gets, the fewer animal encounters you see) and then spend time on the other attractions. We then take a midday break at our Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel, grab an early dinner, and then head to Magic Kingdom refreshed so we can last till midnight.
I hope this was helpful, Audrey! I would be happy to
discuss it and share more tips and tricks.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
