Do you recommend taking my own stroller or renting? If I take my own, is it safe to walk away from it?

    Hi Amanda,

I can only speak from my experience.  We have gone three times with our stroller and often walk away from it.  I know I'm taking a minor risk, but I'm comfortable with it.  I don't know of anyone getting their stroller stolen, but I guess it could happen.

We bring our own stroller in for many reasons.  First, my daughter is comfortable in and it is very easy to handle.  Also, if you carry your personal items (sunscreen, change of clothes, etc) in the storage area you can go through the "guests without bags" entrance.  It only saves you 5 minutes, but we feel like VIPs walking past everyone else waiting in line.  It also is a nice way to carry bags of souvenirs, water bottles, and everything else we collect throughout the day.  Lastly, its free to use your own.

If you have a very common stroller you may want to tie a string around the handle or do something to make it stand out.  We leave the airline baggage claim ticket on ours so that we can distinguish it.

One last tip.  Try to leave your stroller in one of the marked "stroller parking" areas.  If you don't there is a chance that a castmember may move it to the closest parking area.

    Enjoy your trip
