Do you recommend a stroller for a 5 year old? We don't use one now, but often get asked "will you carry me"? I know the parks are large.

    Hello, Wendy!

I would highly recommend utilizing a stroller for the parks.  You are correct, the parks are large and there is a lot of walking.  Little ones will get tired and cranky!  Trust me, my boys are much older now, but I still remember the days of the "pick me up" and "I don't want to walk anymore".  Ouch, this can make for a very long and tiresome day.  Oh, have I mentioned that there is a lot of walking?  Not only will you have a seat on wheels for your little one, your little one will also be able to nap when she/he gets tired.  I also recommend bringing along a small pillow for this very reason.  There is nothing like a well rested child to conquer the remainder of the day.  You will also be happy to know that you will feel much safer knowing your little one is safe as you maneuver through the crowds.  It really puts your mind at ease. Do not think for a second that you will not see other children much older than 5 being pushed around in a stroller.  This is how the grown-ups keep their sanity!  Oh, did I mention there is a lot of walking?

    Have a MAGICAL day!
