Hi Sandra,
Absolutely! When my kids were 5, we almost always opted to bring our own stroller. It made navigating the parks so much easier, particularly at the end of the day when they were impersonating Snow White's Sleepy! However, there were a few times when we either forgot the stroller in the car at the airport, or simply didn't want to travel with the additional gear.
There are several
Stroller Rentals locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. So if you don't want to bring your son's stroller, you can rent one there. Individual strollers are recommended for children 50 pounds or less, while double strollers are for children weighing 100 pounds or less. If you pre-pay the number of days that you'll be requiring a stroller, you can save money. Just be sure to save and show your receipt at the stroller rental locations each time you visit a theme park.
In addition to the stroller rental locations at Walt Disney World Resort, there are several private local area companies that rent strollers. You can book a stroller from one of the Disney Featured Providers in advance of your family's visit. You'll find their contact information shown below.
