Where do you recommend staying to feel less ship movement? Midship?

    Ahoy Jennifer –

We are happy that you sailed in with a question for us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am pleased to help you with choosing the perfect stateroom to keep your crew comfortable and safe while sailing on Disney Cruise Line.

Even experienced and seasoned cruise veterans can sometimes have trouble at sea. Though I have been on several cruises, I find that I am very sensitive to motion and sea-sickness. I even get sick as a passenger in a car!

I have found that selecting staterooms in the center of the ship (Midship) helps to eliminate my discomfort. You should be alright with a Midship stateroom, regardless of the deck. Now if you are prone to significant motion sickness, I do recommend a visit with your physician in order to get the right medicines to help you enjoy your sailing.

The ship also has the Health Center which provides help and medicines for guests with sea-sickness. We want you to have smooth sailing with Mickey! Jennifer, thanks for stopping by for a visit with us today. Please feel free to drop in again if you need more help.
