Can you recommend a restaurant at Disney Springs for food allergies? I know a lot of places have limited menus now. We will be visiting in May and have gluten/seafood allergies. Used to go to the Irish Pub but they dropped a lot of the gluten free items

    Hi there, Debbie!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your dining question - I'm happy to help!

When planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, one of the main things to consider is where to eat! With all the amazing dining options available, it can almost be overwhelming. Pair that with a food allergy, and it's always nice to have a few recommendations to go on. The good news is, there are lots of allergy-friendly options to choose from!

When visiting Disney Springs, Guests with special dietary requests can find several restaurants to meet their needs. Here are a few of my top choices:

The Polite Pig - This barbecue restaurant, which always smells heavenly when I walk by, has a gluten-free menu featuring brisket, ribs and chicken.

Morimoto Asia - A Pan-Asian eatery, featuring dishes created by Japanese master chef Masaharu Morimoto, has a separate menu that caters to gluten-free dining, with appetizers, sushi and entrees.

Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' - my favorite choice on the list, is a table-service, farm-to-fork downhome Southern-style treasure. Serving lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch, they feature a full Gluten-free menu.

Other Disney Springs dining locations that have a good selection of allergy-free menu items are Paddlefish, Rainforest Cafe, Frontera Cocina, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant, and Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza (which offers a gluten-free crust, but not a dedicated oven).

Disney goes above and beyond to help assist Guests with their dining choices, and Guests with food allergies are encouraged to speak with a Cast Member to discuss their specific dietary needs upon arrival at dining locations. When making Advance Dining Reservations, make sure to indicate all food allergies at the time of booking. If you have further questions, or would like to discuss your dining need with a dedicated Cast Member, you can reach out to the team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com .

I hope this helps when you're choosing where to dine at Disney Springs!
