Do you recommend renting a car if staying at CBR? I've always used the bussing in other resorts but this sounds like a big resort! Also what building do you rec. staying at? Coming at the end of Sept. so not sure if that makes a difference? Thank you!

Hi Elizabeth!  The Caribbean Beach Resort is wonderful!  It is very large, but that also means that there are many fun activities to do without even leaving your resort!

I don't think you will need a car.  There are several (I think seven) different bus stops that will take you to all of the Disney parks and other areas, so you wouldn't have to walk a long distance to find one.

They also offer an internal bus system to take you from building to building on resort property.  This would eliminate the need (and expense) to rent a car.

I would recommend asking for the Martinique building.  It is the closest to Old Port Royale, which is the hub of the resort.  Next would be Trinidad North.  You can find a great resort map on allears.net.  This may give you a good idea of how the resort is laid out and where you would prefer to stay.

I hope this helps!  Please send me any other questions you may have as you plan for your September vacation!
