What do you recommend for a princess- and character-crazy toddler now that Ariel's Grotto has gone? We are visiting in July/August. Long lines are difficult for her. Thanks so much.

    Hello, Caitlin!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. There are many magical character interaction opportunities throughout the theme parks that will be a big hit with your little girl! “Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park” at Plaza Inn inside Disneyland Park is a good choice for a hearty, all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet of breakfast classics while visiting with Minnie and the gang at your table. It’s possible to secure a reservation there prior to when the park officially opens, so you’ll have more time to explore the park while early morning crowds are low.

Your daughter can meet several favorite Disney Princess friends at Royal Hall in Disneyland Park. Every day, Guests are welcome to visit for hugs, autographs and photos with beloved Disney royalty. Royal Hall is located in Fantasy Fair, just adjacent to Sleeping Beauty Castle, and it’s a fairytale-come-true! Each Princess is available to meet and greet Guests in a private nook amid regal decor inspired by the castle, and you’ll only have to wait in line once to meet all of the available Princesses.

Another idea is a visit to Royal Theatre to enjoy live performances under the open-air tent. The shows recreate beloved Disney tales with an added humorous spin. Your whole family will love watching scenes from Beauty and the Beast and Tangled come to life, and your daughter will especially enjoy seeing Belle and Rapunzel on stage!

Lastly, be sure to download the official Disneyland Mobile App so you can locate her favorites in the theme parks by checking the Characters tab. I hope this helps, Caitlin, and that your family has a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Happiest Place on Earth soon!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
