Can you recommend, in your opinion, the best Disney Moderate Hotel to stay in? My family consist of myself, my grown daughter, and her 14 year old son. We are hoping to come down in early November of 2018. Thank you.

    Hi Diane,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's so nice to answer a question from a fellow resident of the Garden State!

If you ask this question to various Disney Parks Moms Panelists, you will likely get different answers. All the Disney Moderate Resort Hotels have spectacular theming. There's so much to love at each one. However, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is my recommendation for you for a variety of practical reasons:

    1. It is the smallest of the Disney Moderate Resort Hotels so all of the hotel's amenities are close by.

    2. There is only one bus stop at this resort so if you say to your daughter or grandson, "meet me at the bus stop," there will be no confusion where to meet.

    3. You can take a water taxi to Disney Springs from the back of your resort, and it is the closest of the moderate hotels to this amazing shopping and dining destination. The new restaurants there look so alluring.

    4. You can buy freshly baked beignets at the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory every morning. Need I say more?

So why not plan to spend your next vacation amidst the charm of New Orleans' historic French Quarter? I think you'll love it!

Let us know if you need any additional guidance as you make plans for your trip. We'd be happy to help.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
