Welcome Back Jessica!
Before I get to this question - I wanted to give you some great news on a previous question. Remember when I told you last week that we hoped Sofia the First would start making her appearances at Hollywood Studios any day? Well . . she's there now!
Look for Sofia near the Disney Junior - Live on Stage Theater.
Sounds like you have an exciting day planned at the Magic Kingdom. I think 'Ohana is a great choice. The food is excellent. You get lots of different selections. They do offer alternative kid selections if you have picky eaters. Its all you can eat. Its served family style so they bring it to your table which allows you to sit back and relax which is nice after a day in the parks. And to top it off - the 'Ohana Bread Pudding is amazing!
My kids love 'Ohana because they get to participate in activities like the limbo, coconut races and learning a hula. Even my 11 year old will let down his "too cool for this" barrier and join in the fun. Depending on the time of your reservations, you could stroll out onto the beach to watch Wishes. It offers a great view over the water.
I also really like Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian. Their food is fabulous and you can watch Wishes from there as well. But I think my kids enjoy 'Ohana a little more as it offers a little entertainment for them.
Unfortunately, there aren't any pirate theme dinners right now but while you're in the Magic Kingdom, be sure to check out Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial and A Pirate's Adventure - Treasures of the Seven Seas. Sounds like you're already doing the Pirate's League so be sure to come back and join in the Adventureland Pirate Parade that afternoon.
Please feel free to keep the questions coming. We're hEAR for you!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
