Hey, Kathy!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite events at Magic Kingdom Park and my kids have loved it for years.
There are several ways to enjoy this experience.
1. You may enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 p.m. and enjoy all the attractions till midnight when the party ends. This may allow you to save some money on buying a theme park ticket that day if you choose to explore Disney Springs or spend the day by the pool.
2. With lower crowd levels during the party, your kids could enjoy more time on the attractions without an excessive wait.
3. Trick or treating throughout Magic Kingdom park is ghoulishly delightful as Cast Members deliver handfuls of candy. One year we collected over 10 pounds!
4. Specialty desserts are available during the party such as candy corn soft serve ice cream and Halloween themed cupcakes.
5. You can avoid the Disney Characters,
fireworks and the parade if you want by riding attractions but they are a highlight of the party.
If the above ideas sound great to you then Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is perfect for your trip but if not then I would attend a party when all your kids will enjoy this spooktacular event.
Disney Dad Tip:
Happy HalloWishes Fireworks is very loud and the music is great. Youtube the show and Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade for more details and see if the kids would enjoy them.
Kathy, enjoy making many unforgettable Magical Memories!
