Hi Cynthia,
Well - honestly I'm just a big ole kid at heart - especially when it comes to WDW so I have to say, YES! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my all time favorite events at the Magic Kingdom - with or w/o kids & I've done it both ways.
It is a special ticketed event so MK will not be as crowded which shortens lines & makes it easier to maneuver the park. Everyone (including adults - that means you) is encouraged to dress up. Its worth the price of admission to me just to see all of the costumes. Some are truly spectacular & you'd swear they're Cast Members.
MK will be decked out in Halloween decorations. When you enter, be sure to pick up a MNSSHP Guide Map. You'll each be given a Trick-or-Treat bag (yes - even adults). There will be several locations throughout the park where you can T-o-T. There will be several character M&G locations around the park. Some of the characters dress up for Halloween too & it makes for some great photo ops! PhotoPass Photographers will be located throughout the park.
Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade is awesome & is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. & 10:30 p.m. (its easier to get a good spot for the 2nd parade). The Happy HalloWishes fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Not every attraction is open during MNSSHP - but the most popular ones will be - check the Guide Map for a list.
Last year there were a couple of character dance party locations & a Disney Villains Mix & Mingle in front of Cinderella Castle. Alice & Mad Hatter's Treat Party was along the back path b/t Toontown & Tomorrowland. These will be listed on the Guide Map.
So be a kid again & join the fun! Tickets are available online & can be purchased by clicking
