Where would you recommend making reservations to eat dinner with a 3 y/o girl & 6 y/o boy at Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom?

    Hi there Toni,

I am excited to hear you are planning a magical Walt Disney World vacation for your family, and advanced planning is the way to go.  Kudos to you for getting the ball rolling early!

There are so many fantastic places to dine in both of these parks, but I have taken the liberty of choosing my favorites in each park, based on the ages of your children... I also recommend at least one character dining experience as the are a big hit with both the kiddos and the parents!

    Magic Kingdom:

    1) The Crystal Palace: A buffet-style character dining experience featuring Winnie the Pooh and his friends.

    2) Be Our Guest Restaurant: Dine in Beast's Castle and even catch a glimpse of falling snow and the forbidden rose of Beauty and the Beast.  This is a new experience and very popular.

    Animal Kingdom:

    1) Tusker House:  A buffet style dinner featuring unique African-inspired dishes and American favorites as well.

    2) Rainforest Cafe:  A beautifully decorated and interactive dining experience in a rain forest, jungle setting.

Please note that dining reservations may be made at 180 days in advance of your check-in date.  Please be ready to jump on this as soon as the reservation window opens, as some of these options are extremely popular, especially Be Our Guest.  The online window opens at 6AM and the phone line at 7AM.

    Good Luck and Best wishes,

    Amanda F.
