Do you recommend Lightning Lane Multi Pass for all 4 parks or only specific ones?

Hi again, Elsa. Ka-chow! Let me tell you, you are my type of planner! Around here, we don't just wing it. We prep our pit stops, map out our routes, and race toward the magic. So let's fire up those engines and get right into it!

I'm a big Lightning Lane fan. I pretty much purchase it every time I'm in each of the parks, especially because a lot of times, I will start in one park, take a break, and then go to another. So, I definitely get good use of these passes. I like to think of it like Lightning McQueen in Cars. Sure, the scenic route can be fun, but sometimes you want that extra boost to help you zip through the parks and experience more magic throughout the day. That said, there are parks that I feel need it more than others.

I would definitely recommend looking into Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom has the most rides of any of the parks, and a bunch of the attractions at Hollywood Studios can quickly rack up some waits during peak times. The next park I would consider is EPCOT, followed by Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Now, that last one will likely change when Pueblo Esperanza opens, which is currently projected to be sometime in 2027. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more information on that one!

Now, I know you didn't specifically ask about Lightning Lane Single Pass, but since you're a planner like me, I feel like I need to give you my opinion. You ready for it? I pretty much always buy Single Pass for the attractions in each park that offer them, even if I'm not buying Multi Pass. And that's because they are the most popular attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I love being able to skip the main standby queue for a shorter wait. With these experiences especially, I prefer the faster route so I can spend more time enjoying the adventure itself. For example, when my husband and I visit Animal Kingdom in a few weeks, we'll likely get the Single Pass for Avatar Flight of Passage, but not Multi Pass that day.

Elsa, whether you choose to purchase these services or not, be sure to make time for spontaneity. There are unexpected experiences everywhere, and sometimes leaving time for it all to unfold (like we're doing with Animal Kingdom) leaves room for the surprises you'll be talking about for years to come. After all, even Lightning McQueen learned that sometimes the best parts of the journey happen when you slow down and enjoy the road along the way.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to send them my way. I’ll be ready and racin’ to help!

    Keep cruisin',
    Matt
