Which do you recommend, GF or Poly. 3rd time to WDW and we wanted to treat ourselves. Kids are 8 and 11. We will be having a number of meals at GF. Stayed at the POFQ twice before. Both look so great!

Hi Rose! If you are really looking for a resort to treat yourselves to a deluxe holiday then I suggest the Grand Floridian!  It is the premiere resort at Walt Disney World and you will certainly feel like royalty during your stay.

It is conveniently located on the monorail and close to the Magic Kingdom park. There are two pool areas with one having the slides and other themed areas.  The lobby in the main building is exquisite and we love to just sit and enjoy the nightly music from the orchestra or the pianist.  Since you already have reservations you know there are some wonderful dining opportunities at this resort as well.

If you think the family would appreciate a bit more laid back resort then the Polynesian is a perfect location.
During past visits I did find this resort to be a bit noisier with more families but the views of the Magic Kingdom if you are lucky enough to get one of the rooms facing the water is magnificent! Definitely a personal choice and mine would be the Grand Floridian.
