Would you recommend going to Fantasmic! on an evening without Magic Hours or are the crowds similar whether you go on a regular night or one that has Magic Hours?

If only I could wave my magic wand. Instead I’ll tell you what I’ve noticed regarding crowd levels. I would go on an evening without Extra Magic Hours (EMH). Crowds seem thicker at the Hollywood Studios on EMH evenings, especially if you are traveling during a busier season. This may be because there are so few attractions open that guests tend to congregate in the same area. And at Hollywood Studios that area is near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror which just happen to be near the show that you want to see.

If there are 2 Fantasmic! Shows while you are at Hollywood Studios, the second show of the evening should be less crowded.

In addition, I noted on my last 2 vacations that we had very low crowds on Tuesday evenings while touring the Hollywood Studios. (Could have been completely random but it was nice enough that I made note of it.)

Enjoy this spectacular show while cheering Mickey on as he battles the Disney villains.
