Hi April,
Ever since my daughter was an infant, we have visited all four theme parks at Walt Disney World with her. I truly believe that there is something for everyone of every age at each of the Walt Disney World theme parks.
Our daughter has always loved some of the more gentle attractions at Epcot, including Living with the Land and Journey into Imagination with Figment. If your little one enjoys all things Frozen, Epcot is where you can meet Anna and Elsa as well as take a ride on Frozen Ever After. While walking around World Showcase, we would let our daughter stop at the
Kidcot Fun Stops. She enjoyed creating a craft, and my husband and I would get a snack or beverage from the pavilion we were in and watch the people go by as she colored.
At Disney's Animal Kingdom, our daughter has always loved seeing the animals. We would take a ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris so she could see exotic animals such as giraffes and elephants. She also loved a ride on the Wildlife Express Train out to Rafiki's Planet Watch. There, we would visit Affection Section, which offers the ability to pet and interact with domesticated animals.
If you are choosing one or the other, I think that it will most depend on your little one. Since she could speak, my daughter has let everyone know that her favorite Walt Disney World theme park is Epcot, so with her we would go there. If your little one is more interested in animals, a trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom may be in order.
For other ideas for experiences with your preschooler at Walt Disney World, I suggest that you visit the
planning page for Walt Disney World with preschoolers. This page has great ideas for taking in the magic with your little one.
Please do let us know if you have any further questions, April.
