Where do you recommend to eat on new years eve?

    Hi Sally Ann,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. My family visited Walt Disney World for New Year's Eve a few years ago, and had a wonderful time celebrating the festivities with amazing fireworks and fantastic entertainment at the theme parks.

It does look like Walt Disney World is planning some special dining for New Year's Eve this year. I suggest that you look into that if you are looking for an exquisite dining experience, as some of Walt Disney World's lovely signature restaurants, including California Grill, Monsieur Paul, and even Victoria & Albert's, are on the list. These would be wonderful places do dine if you want dining to be central to your New Year's Eve experience.

Another option is simply to choose any restaurant that is appealing to your traveling party! If you are heading to a theme park for the evening, I suggest that you arrive early as New Year's Eve can see many guests visiting the parks. Then choose a restaurant that appeals to you at that theme park. For instance, at Epcot, I might choose Chefs de France, or at Magic Kingdom, the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen.

No matter which dining option you choose, I absolutely suggest that you make a reservation as I am sure many guests will want to dine at Walt Disney World on New Year's Eve. You can do this from the Disney Dining page online, or by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). You can make dining reservations 180 days ahead of the day that you wish to dine, and if you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you can make dining reservations 180 days ahead of your check-in date for the length of your stay, up to 10 days.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Sally Ann! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
