Would you recommend Downtown Disney or Chip & Dale's campfire singalong for our first night? Have 2 boys who will be 7 and 4 when we go. They love Lego but they love camping and campfires too. We can't do both as this is the only "free" eveni

Hi Janice, This is a tough one to answer because I absolutely love both of theses experiences, but I have to consider your personal situation and not what I would choose for myself and my daughter at this point in time when we have done both of these experiences numerous amounts of times now. My daughter and I love to shop and the atmosphere in Downtown Disney is very special indeed, but with two boys (7 and 4), there is only so much Lego to play with and they may not be as interested in shopping as you may be. There are many places to go that the boys would love there though such as the T-Rex Restaurant and gift shop (they even have a neat Dig Site for them to play in), Rainforest Cafe also has interesting things such as all the tropical fish tanks to look at, Goofy's Candy Co. is also a must do whether a child or adult and so many more fun things whether you are a boy, girl, adult, etc..... The Campfire with Chip and Dale is one of my "must do" experiences on each trip and if I had to choose Downtown Disney or the Campfire Sing A Long, I would have to choose the campfire for sure. The whole atmosphere and experience is something that you will be hard pressed to find on any other vacation you may go on in the future and this experience will hold lasting memories for all of you. I always remember my childhood vacations at Fort Wilderness and we used to go to the Campfire with Chip and Dale all the time and I am so thankful for those memories that come flooding back to me each and everytime I just think of Fort Wilderness. I hope you all make many lasting memories on your upcoming trip to WDW no matter what you decide to do on your "free night". Best wishes, Brigitta
