Which do you recommend doing with a 1 year old- Hoop-Dee-Doo or Mickey's BY BBQ? I was thinking HDD. We land at 12:30, will pick up a rental car and go to the resort. Will we have enough time to make the 5:00 show that night. I don't want to push it.

    Hello Brandi,

I think if you are asking for my personal opinion I would go for Mickey's Backyard Barbecue.  Although the Hoop-Dee-Doo review is a great show, (one that definitely brings back many memories for me as a child), I think you will find it way too busy for a 1 year old!  Also the food is really not geared to young one's, whereas the barbecue with Mickey and friends has a better selection of food for the small children (including hot dogs, my daughters favorite) and seeing the characters at this age I think is more exciting for them than a show. I like to relax after our flight, so I wouldn't jump into a show on the same evening as arriving, but that is just me (these shows are quite expensive, so I like to really enjoy them when I am well rested).  Enjoy whichever one you choose, bottom line they are both great!!!!
