Do you recommend doing character dining? If so which character dining experience do you think is the most magical and which one has the best food?

Hey there Jasmine and welcome to planDisney!

Character Dining Experiences are such fun moments during a Walt Disney World vacation. The best part of my dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant was the thrill of seeing The Beast make his rounds about the castle. And while Guests of all ages absolutely adore them, their particularly special for the smallest among us. If you have a little dreamer in your party it's definitely something to make room in the schedule for.

On the subject of which experience to pick, you've asked a question that would spark a lot of debate! If you ask every person on this panel, I'm sure every single one will give you a different answer as to which character dining location is their favorite. But the one spoken of most often in the highest regard in my hearing is the breakfast at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera over at Disney's Riviera Resort. Mickey and his pals make the rounds in their artist attire making magic for everyone while they dine. And with menu items like Smoked Salmon and Wood-fired Butcher's Steak, it sounds like a grand time for all involved!

Pro-tip: Make sure the kids get some Mickey waffle dippers. This kids' entree is designed to look like paint brushes and an artist's palate. It's one time where playing with your food is encouraged!

Jasmine, go ahead and book that breakfast! This is a pretty popular location and those reservations fill up quickly. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
