Hold the Italian music, Bonnie! I can hear Lady and the Tramp barking up restaurants that will thrill your family during your Bella Nottes at dinner. I have 2 young kids that have visited many Walt Disney World restaurants with me, so I’ll recommend our favorites.
If you are looking for some entertainment with your dinner, I highly recommend The
Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, during which your tables will be plied with family style trays, with refillable sangria and delicious dessert. My kids were rapt with attention as actors sang, joked and invited the kids to play instruments. Resort hopping for meals is also a fun way to experience many table service style cuisines without park admission, which is why I love 1900 Park Fare’s Cinderella dinner and it’s butternut squash ravioli. Another fun experience is the O’Hana breakfast at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. Again serving family style, this character breakfast is lots of fun with Stitch and dishes everyone will enjoy.
My kid’s absolute (and mine!) favorite table service experience is over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, inside
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre. You can sit in “cars” at a star-lit drive in (full service car hops are your waiters) with classic 50’s fare and the BEST Lunar Long Island Iced Tea you’ve ever had.Your preschooler will love the family-friendly vintage cartoon and fun monster movie clips on the screen. This is a must do, in my book! I would advise against T-Rex Cafe if your little one doesn’t like loud environments; animatronics here steal the show, but it’s quite loud for large parties. Please return to ask me another question. I’m getting so hungry talking about all these restaurants! ~ Lindsey P.
