Would you recommend Chef Mickey or Mickeys Backyard BBQ for a 3yr old and 12 month old boys? Does the BBQ have high chairs? Traveling in early April. Thank you!

    Howdy Samantha!

Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is one of my favorite character dining experiences, not to mention that it's located in my favorite Walt Disney World Resort!  We took my son when he was about 6 months old and we've been a few times since then.  The BBQ is so much fun for kids, especially if they love to dance.  The dinner show is completely interactive with the characters and is a lively evening with fantastic food, music and fun.  It's not your typical character dining experience.  Given the two options, my kids would pick the BBQ every time.  Bonus: Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars!  High chairs are certainly provided for the little ones.

With that being said, Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort is always a must-do for us.  The variety of food is perfect for my family of picky eaters and the character interaction is great.  The price point is less and it's easier to travel to than Fort Wilderness.  My favorite meal at Chef Mickeys' is brunch, which includes the best options from breakfast and dinner.  I can't pass up a Mickey waffle!

You can't go wrong with either of these awesome options!

    Have a magical day!
