Would you recommend bringing a stroller? Our youngest will be 5 when we will be at WDW. She doesn't typically need a stroller anymore, but I'm not sure if it would be beneficial to have the option to ride with the amount of walking we anticipate.

Hi Toni. Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's so exciting to know you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in just a few short days!

I think you are on the right track bringing the stroller. While your princess may question why you brought it, toward the end of the day, she will be thankful for it. It varies from day to day and what our plans are, but we typically walk anywhere from 7-12 miles per day when we are visiting Walt Disney World Resort with our kiddos. That's a lot of walking, especially for a kiddo.

If you decide to take the stroller, I would also suggest you bring a small blanket or towel with you to use throughout the day. When you park your stroller outside of the attractions, use the blanket or towel to cover the seat of the stroller as it can become very hot in the warm Florida sun. You will also want to put some kind of tag or ribbon on your stroller to help you easily identify it. As Guests come and go to an attraction, the strollers sometimes get moved by Cast Members to accommodate other strollers. You will be amazed to see how many strollers look exactly like yours. The ribbon or tag will help you in finding your stroller.

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if you need any other last minute tips or advice before your trip begins. Enjoy every magical moment of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
