Would you recommend bringing my own stroller or renting at the park?

    Hi Alison!

There are many things to consider when deciding on a stroller for your children during your Walt Disney World vacation trip. I have always been a firm believer that less is better and that you don't need the huge monstrosity of a stroller that you often see in the parks. Children are in and out of a stroller so much and they will fall asleep in just about anything when they need to. Getting around with something smaller is so much easier for you as well.

Whether you rent a park stroller or use one of your own is a personal choice. If your child is very young and won't be able to do a lot of walking then using your own stroller is best as many of the walks from the buses in the parks to the entrances can be long. You will also enjoy using a stroller for the small children around your resort.

Renting a Park Stroller is easy and convenient with locations to rent right at each park entrance. They are not particularly comfortable for the infants though so consider that when making your decision. I suggest you simply arrive at your resort and check out the inexpensive umbrella strollers they offer for sale in the resort shops. They include a cup holder as well as a cover and are priced between $50-$60 so they are reasonable. They recline and are great for all but maybe the youngest infants. They are easy to maneuver and get around and fold up when taking the bus transportation. All strollers must be folded when you get on a bus. My children and grandchildren have all used these umbrella strollers and they are wonderful. The money you would use to rent strollers each day would just about be the same price during a week trip.

Lots to consider but hopefully I have given you more information to make your decision easier as it is truly a personal one.
