Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Cameron. I'm so glad you stopped by and so glad to see you're planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It's the very best kind if you ask me.
As a mom of three, I have spent plenty of time navigating the theme parks with a baby in tow. In my experience, I can tell you that the Walt Disney World Resort makes it super easy with lots of family-friendly services! If you'll be carrying breast milk and ready-made formula,
nearly any cooler (with or without wheels) is fine to bring into the theme parks as long as it's no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. I've gone into the theme parks with a cooler backpack and a cooler with a shoulder strap, and I actually think the cooler with the shoulder strap is more convenient! What I like about the cooler with the shoulder strap is that I can put the strap over the handlebar of our stroller so I'm not carrying it around all day.
Let's chat about keeping your breast milk and ready-made formula nice and cold in your cooler! Loose ice is not permitted in the theme parks. You could certainly pack reusable ice packs, but making sure I refreeze them at the end of every day is not something I want to add to my vacation to-do list. Instead, I pack a box of gallon-sized freezer bags and utilize our Disney Resort hotel's ice machine. Before we head to the theme parks every morning, I fill a freezer bag or two with ice from the hotel's ice machine, and then I just toss those bags into our cooler!
Did you know there's a conveniently located
Baby Care Center in each of the four theme parks? The Baby Care Center is the perfect place to take your baby for a quiet feeding or diaper change.
I hope this was helpful, Cameron. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
