Would you recommend breakfast or lunch for the Akershus Royal at Epcot . Is it too much to have breakfast at Akershus and then a dinner reservation at 4:30pm for 1900 Park Fare. Will we waste most of our day trying to get to reservations ?

    Hi Beth,

Akershus is fun any time, but breakfast is my favorite meal there.  I like the buffet selections better than those offered at lunch or dinner.

Your dinner reservation at 1900 Park Fare is quite early.  I think having breakfast in Akershus on the same day is fine, as long as you can get a relatively early reservation.  Both restaurants are all you can eat, so I don't even think you'll be that hungry for any other meal that day.  Your children might need a small snack; I recommend bringing some crackers or a granola bar into the parks.  The food at 1900 Park Fare is quite good, so you'll want to make sure you come to dinner hungry.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
