Can you recommend the best value resort to stay at? I have booked a trip in June and am currnetly staying at Movies, but after reading the reviews posted for this hotel and the other value hotels, I'm nervous. Is it worth upgrading to a moderate resort?

    Hi April!

My absolute favorite Disney Value Resort is Pop Century.  It has the best food court at Walt Disney World and I love the fact that Pop Century only has one bus stop; it also does not share buses with any other resorts.  If you're going to stay at a Value Resort, Pop Century is definitely the way to go!

If you decide to upgrade to a Disney Moderate Resort, I highly recommend Port Orleans Riverside.  I especially love the Alligator Bayou section of that resort.  I love the theming, and the boat transportation that's available to Downtown Disney.

However, I can't tell you to pick one over the other!  If you're not going to spend much time in your resort hotel, then it probably doesn't matter.  Both are nice places to stay.  However, Port Orleans Riverside has a larger pool, with a nice water slide.  It also has a Table Service restaurant at the hotel that's available for dinner in addition to a very nice food court.  Finally, you can rent water craft there and even go cane pole fishing!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
