Hi Lewis,
Welcome to planDisney! We are thrilled to see you stopping by with another great question!
Although there are no resorts exclusive to adults, there are a number of ways to find that adults-only magic at the Walt Disney World Resort. First, I suggest a deluxe, deluxe villa or moderate resort. The deluxe and deluxe villa resorts have signature dining options that are simply fabulous. At
Disney's Contemporary Resort, for example, California Grill is stellar. We prefer the rooms in the Garden Wing because they have been quieter and, if you choose a first-floor room with a view of Bay Lake, you can relax on your patio in the morning before heading out to the parks. At
Disney's BoardWalk Villas, we adore the relaxing feel to the resort and the dining options on the BoardWalk including
Flying Fish and the
ESPN Club.
If your focus is on maximizing your pool time without a lot of children, try
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. There are quiet pools located throughout the resort and we love the walking paths. This resort is also close to Disney Springs and the night life at Disney Springs is fabulous for adults. You could enjoy an evening at STK Orlando or The Edison.
If you would just love to relax at the spa, I suggest
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney's
Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa because both offer spa services. And, finally,
Disney's Old Key West Resort and
Disney's Coronado Springs might also be good possibilities. I stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort last year and was thrilled with how quiet it was. It truly was lovely.
Lewis, before you decide, just review the amenities each resort has to offer including transportation and dining options. Also, be sure to check the
operational updates for precise information on resort and dining availability during the dates of your visit. I am sending a little extra pixie dust your way trusting that you will make a most excellent choice!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
