Would you recommend AKL or Beach Club? We have 2DD who will nap in the afternoons in our room and a 9DS who will want to do other activities with one parent around the resort while she's napping. Afraid in Dec. pool may not be an option many days.

I'd still go with Beach Club.

Even with the water heated in the pool, I can understand your concern not to bring that into consideration.  HINT: now at the end of summer, you may find an affordable wet suit for him!

But what Beach Club offers that Animal Kingdom doesn't is the fact that it sits at the back door to Epcot and is a nice stroll over to the Boardwalk!  If it were me, I'd head for a few games inside the ESPN club nearby or take a brisk walk to Epcot and check out all the neat soccer jerseys in Britain!  Disney Studios is also just a 10-minute walk or a 20-minute boat ride, too!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
