Hi Hunter, and welcome to planDisney.
I’m sorry to hear you had to cancel a booking at the Walt Disney World Resort. Like you, I had to cancel two visits over the past year, and it was not magical. Breaking the news to my children that our vacation wasn’t going to happen was no fun at all. I totally sympathize with you and will do my best to point you in the right direction to get your question resolved.
As part of the
phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, there is currently a “
Book with Confidence” policy in place, allowing additional flexibility with cancellations and modifications (note that the current policy is for reservations with arrivals through April 30, 2021). As I understand it, there may be a processing backlog due to the number of Guests changing their plans during these uncertain times. If you look in your
My Disney Experience account under “My Plans,” you may still see the old reservation if it has not yet been processed.
I would recommend speaking with a Cast Member directly about receiving a confirmation of your
cancellation, as well as your refund. Please call (407) 934-7639 and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to assist you.
When you’re ready to make new plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, we’re ready to help! Please come back and see us if we can answer any questions about planning your Walt Disney World vacation. In the meantime, take good care, and we’ll “see ya real soon.”
Wishing you a great big beautiful tomorrow,
Robyn
