    We recieved Complimentary Theme Park tickets as a gift from a former employee. Can we use these tickets to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure Park on the same day in California?

    Hey there, Michele!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your great question. Complimentary tickets to the Disneyland Resort are the most magical gift you can receive, so I can't wait for you to visit the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Since I am not sure exactly which type of tickets you have in your possession, your best bet would be to call the Disneyland Resort ticket information number at (714) 781-4636 for specific details and restrictions with your exact tickets. Make sure you have them on-hand during the call so the Cast Member can help you with any questions you have. Tickets that allow you to visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park within the same day are denoted by having "Park Hopper" on the ticket. The other option for a ticket is one that is called a "1-Park Per Day" ticket which allows you access to one of the two parks (whichever you choose) on a single day.

    Depending on your ticket type, you may be able to upgrade to a Park Hopper ticket when you arrive at any of the Main Entrance ticket booths by paying the difference between these two types of tickets. Park hopping at the Disneyland Resort is such a breeze as both parks are literally only footsteps apart. We often hop multiple times per day between the parks if we see an attraction wait time that is low or a Character greeting we don't want to miss on the Disneyland app.
