    Recently had weight loss surgery and can't eat much. Are their discounts on the dinning plans (charge kid rates)? Do they allow adults to order off kids menu with the deluxe dinning plan?

    Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I am excited that you are considering the Walt Disney World Dining Plan.  This is a great way to keep your food budget in check while on vacation.  My family and I never visit without a dining plan in place.

    Unfortunately, there are no discounts.  In order to pay a child's price, you must be in the 3 to 9 age group. Ages 10+ will pay the adult price.  You may certainly request a child's meal, but your adult credit will still be taken from your dining plan credits.  The good news is that Disney does offer some great meals that are on the lighter side.
