I was recently at WDW Epcot Japan and picked a pearl. However, it did not take me very long to lose it - even though I had it in a cage. Do you know if I can re-order a pearl from the store on-line? I loved my special souvenir. 😔 Thanks!

Hello Angela! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

On our first Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I was sure to visit Mitsukoshi Department Store in the Japan Pavilion at Epcot to have my daughter experience "Pick-a-Pearl". Her pearl and necklace are hanging in her room in a wonderful Cinderella Coach pearl cage beside a signed picture from Cinderella, herself.

I'm sorry that you lost your special souvenir. As far as receiving a pearl from Mitsukoshi Department Store, unfortunately "Pick-a-Pearl" is considered an in-person experience and they do not ship pearls from their locations to Guests.

I recommend that you find a replacement pearl or stone where you live and use the loss of your "special souvenir" as something to look forward to (and begin planning for) when you find yourself back at Walt Disney World Resort and Epcot. Besides, my favorite party of "Pick-a-Pearl" was the Cast Member interaction and the Selection process, itself.

If you don't make it to Epcot during your next vacation, the Pick-a-Pearl experience is also available at the Pearl Factory in Disney Springs and a specialized kiosk outside of Stormalong Bay Pool Area at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts

    Good Luck!
