I recently visited WDW with a multi day park hopper pass and wanted to upgrade to an annual pass? Is it possible to put the value of that multi day park hopper toward the cost of the annual pass?

Hi there, Amy, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for asking me this question about how to make the most of your current multi-day theme park tickets with the Park Hopper option. As a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, I can tell you that there’s nothing more magical than being able to visit my Happy Place nearly whenever I’d like. It’s like having my own key to the Kingdom.

I spoke to a friendly Cast Member via the “Chat With Us” feature in the My Disney Experience App, and I confirmed an answer for you. Yes, you are able to put the value of your unused or partially unused theme park ticket toward an annual pass purchase. You’ll also want to make sure that the ticket has not expired.

In order to do this, you’ll want to either visit one of the four theme parks’ ticket windows, Guest Relations, or the Ticket Center at Disney Springs. You can also call the phone number posted in this Upgrade FAQ webpage on the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Amy, if you have any other questions about your upcoming visits to The Most Magical Place on Earth, just give me a holler here at planDisney. See you real soon!

    Magic always,
