Howdy Gina
Welcome to planDisney. I’m so sorry to hear that your treasured photos were lost when your computer was wiped. Let’s take a look at what might be available to help you access your photos.
So, according to the
Disney PhotoPass Expiration Policy, photos and other digital content in your account will expire 45 days from the date the photo content was captured. If you are an Annual Passholder, you get the added benefit of photos and other digital content expiring 365 days after they were captured. The best way to check is to go to the Walt Disney World website and log in to your My Disney Experience account. Hover your cursor over the My Disney Experience tab and click My Photos. If your previous photos are still available, you will find them here. The last option to explore is contacting the
Help Center. Here, you can choose Disney PhotoPass as your category and submit a question to see if there might be a way to recover your photos. I’ve never tried this personally, but you never know when a little Disney magic will come your way.
One quick tip I would like to leave you with. I always recommend using the
My Disney Experience app to access your Photo Gallery and save them to your phone’s cloud. I make sure to do this right after our visit so that I have them saved and I can share them with family and friends.
Gina, I hope that I’ve been able to help and that you will continue to have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World. Please stop by anytime with your questions, and we’ll be happy to assist.
See ya real soon,
Robert
