Recently my uncle passed away and his 6 kids, ages 5 to 13, have just been so down. I was thinking a 4 day Disney trip might help put some smiles on their faces. But is there anything Disney offers that could just make it a little more magical for them?

Hi Janel! I am sure a little bit of Disney would cheer up the kids. Four days might be the best medicine to get them all happy and smiling after a devastating loss.

Disney does not have special activities for situations such as this. But they do offer to all guests some wonderful and fun opportunities. Sometimes when a cast member finds out they are needing some extra pixie dust special things appear or happen but this cannot be guaranteed.

Depending on your budget you can get reservations at a character dining experience for the kids. Or treat some to a make over at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or the Pirates League. The older ones might enjoy a chance to take a sea raycer boat out on the lakes for a bit or ride a horse on the Fort Wilderness trails.

A trip to Disney for six children will not be inexpensive but just be assured that if you can only do that without any of the special dining or activities these children will forever remember this very timely vacation. Just walking through the parks and enjoying some of the attractions will surely bring smiles to their faces.

I also want to throw this out there to you. You can check to see about doing a four day Disney cruise as well for the group. Compare prices for both types of vacation. Both will be full of characters and Disney magic. A cruise offers you an all inclusive vacation which might make it even easier to plan. Let us know what we can do to help you with this wonderful trip for these children!
