Marlana from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Recently traveled for work and used DVC points. Is there a way to convert points to a financial amount to obtain a receipt for reimbursement???

Welcome Home, Marlana! It's always the best day ever when I get to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member. I'm happy to help with your question, and like Judy Hopps, I'm on the case to track down all the DVC information you need!

What a great way to make work a little more magical, by staying in a DVC resort for your business trip. I hope you were able to enjoy some time experiencing Walt Disney World Resort--it sounds like the ideal work/life balance to me!

Marlana, I spoke with the helpful folks at Member Services to find out if there is a standard used to calculate a monetary amount for an equivalent number of Vacation Points. Unfortunately, there is no set answer for this, but the Cast Members I spoke with suggested that you could use the following metrics:
    • $20 per point, which is the current rate for One-time-use points (subject to change)
    • The rack rate for the accommodations that you stayed in, which you can find via the Walt Disney World website
I hope this information is just what you need so you can be reimbursed for your business travel, Marlana! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, and please don't hesitate to reach out directly if I can be of any additional assistance with all things DVC and Walt Disney World.

    Stay Magical!
