I was recently told turkey legs from certain carts count as a SNACK credit for 2016 Disney Dining plan. Is this true? If so where?

    Hey, Heather!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney Parks Turkey legs are nice, juicy, gigantic and have become an icon along with the Dole Whip and Mickey-shaped pretzel.

Currently, turkey legs are sold at a variety of locations throughout the theme parks. When using a Disney Dining Plan, you will need to use a Counter/Quick-Service meal credit and not a snack credit. I wish they sold these as snacks but the one and one-half pound of smoked deliciousness is too much a meal. The Turkey Legs comes as a meal with chips and beverage and really is enough meat for two people to split.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Heather, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories!
