We recently switched resorts from the AKL to Polynesian. We have 3 young children and we were concerned about long bus rides to MK and other parks. Now I am wondering if we made the right decision....Do you think the kids would've have better time at AKL

Hi Michelle - You are definitely right that the Polynesian is much more convenient than the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  We've stayed at both and each has it's own merits.

I think it comes down to how much time you are planning to spend in the room and at the resort.  If you were thinking of spending quite a bit of time at the resort, then the Animal Kingdom Lodge may be more appealing to your kids. But, if you are really looking for greater convenience and want to spend more time playing in the parks, then you can't beat the Polynesian.

Have a great vacation!  I know you'll have a great time, regardless of where you ultimately end up staying.
