Recently stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort in the Aruba section. On check in requested a room in Martinque or Trinidad North but was told that would be an "Upgrade". What makes these rooms upgrade from where we stayed???

    Hi Richards!

I just had a five night stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort at the beginning of January 2014 and I loved it! The Caribbean Beach Resort is a large resort, but there are areas and buildings that are closer to Old Port Royale Centertown which houses dining, recreation, shopping, and a bus stop. The Martinique section (specifically buildings 24, 25, and 26) and Trinidad North section (specifically buildings 31, 32, and 33) are the closest to Old Port Royale Centertown but these sections are considered preferred because of their proximity to Old Port Royale Centertown . The Jamaica section (specifically buildings 40, 44, and 45) and the Aruba section (specifically buildings 51 and 52) are just across Barefoot Bay (there is a walking bridge across the water to Old Port Royale Centertown). So both of these sections are just a short walk away from Old Port Royale Centertown.

I hope that you next Walt Disney World vacation is truly amazing in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
