After recently sailing on the Disney Dream once again, I was wondering what hand soap was used in the public restrooms? It was an extremeely fresh and pleasant smell!

    Hello, George!

Welcome aboard! I've always loved the amazing smells in Disney Parks and on Disney Cruise Line. Those scents instantly tell me that I'm on vacation!

Soap in the staterooms on Disney Cruise Line ships has a sea salt scent. It's so light and fresh! While I wasn't able to find any information specific to the public restroom soap, I can tell you that the air fresheners are from HyScent in the restrooms and from Ecolab in staterooms and public areas. If you search online for sea salt and aloe-type scents you'll have your home smelling like a vacation in no time! I'm hoping that someday we'll be able to shop on the ships for the same soap and other stateroom amenities to take home with us. That used to be one of my favorite souvenirs, but they haven't been available for a while. I'm thinking happy thoughts that they'll return, though!

It sounds like you're an experienced cruiser...are you already planning your next voyage? The Disney Parks Blog has shared so many fun updates about Disney Cruise Line in the last few weeks! There is a lot to look forward to on your next cruise, whether it's a new destination like Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point or brand new ships like the Disney Treasure that will be joining the fleet later this year. There are plenty of reasons (and scents) to go cruising again!

Thanks again for sailing by with your question, George! I hope you're able to find some dreamy scents that remind you of the high seas.

    Keep moving forward!
