Ahoy there, Shelly, and welcome to planDisney!
What a magical moment that must’ve been to watch your daughter’s transformation at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on the Disney Wish. I still remember booking my daughter's first makeover at the BBB in (what is now) Disney Springs as soon as she turned three, and those are some of my favorite vacation photos of all time.
I’m so sorry to hear that the necklace from the Kingdom Package broke once you got home; that’s a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer! Allow me to help you think through a few possible solutions beyond Fairy Godmother waving her magic wand:
1. If you happen to have a visit planned to Walt Disney World Resort, you can visit one of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques there and ask whether they carry the same jewelry set that was offered onboard. I’ve even seen similar keepsakes sometimes appear at Bonjour Gifts in Fantasyland.
2. Even though the sun has set on your cruise, it’s worth
reaching out to Disney Cruise Line by phone or email. They may have different suggestions on where you can find a similar piece of princess jewelry.
3. Contact Merchandise Guest Services, explain what happened, and ask if there is a possibility of receiving a replacement. They may be able to check whether that exact piece is still available or provide a suitable substitute.
While I can’t make any promises, one of the things I love about sailing with Disney is their commitment to customer service. So if there’s a way to replace an item from your shipboard experience, I’m confident they will go the distance to do so!
Here’s hoping you’ll soon hear the words “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!” again, this time with a new necklace in hand. And don’t hesitate to head back to us here at
planDisney if any other questions bubble up!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
