I recently received an instax wide camera for an early birthday gift and was wondering if I'm able to take it to disney to take some pictures?

Hi there Rosie!  Welcome to planDisney.

A very merry unbirthday to you!  How exciting that in just a few days, you'll be right in the middle of The World's Most Magical Celebration at Walt Disney World Resort.  Yes, you are welcome to bring your new Instax camera to instantly capture your magical memories.  You will need to be mindful of attractions or performances where photography is not allowed, or where flash photography is not permitted.  (I know on some models of Instax cameras, the flash cannot be disabled.)  I recommend reviewing the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, where you'll find a list of prohibited items.

In addition to capturing your own photos, I recommend stopping and striking a pose wherever you see Disney PhotoPass photographers out and about in the parks.  I always return home with loads of great Disney PhotoPass photos, and some contain magical surprises!  You can even add a Disney PhotoPass photo to the Cinderella Castle Mural of Memories, which includes a download of your photo.

Rosie, I am wishing you a wonderful vacation!  Be sure to stop by Guest Relations to pick up a complimentary birthday celebration button.  Please let us know if you have any additional questions.  We are always happy to help.
