Welcome to planDisney! My husband and I have used Our
Disney® Visa® Card for years and love using all the Reward Dollars we earned on our trips!
When in the Parks, if you wish to get the 10% merchandise discount at select locations you should have the physical card with you. According to the fine print, to get the discount you must use your valid Disney® Visa® Card as a form of payment at the time of purchase. Now, if you are using
Merchandise Mobile Checkout any applicable discount applies if you have the Disney® Visa® Card
linked to your account. The physical card won't be needed most likely as it is all digitally paid and confirmed. However, if you are checking out at the cash register you should mention the offer if you want the discount. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers. I highly recommend bringing the physical card as there have been times at the registers when I had to show it to a Cast Member. At the registers, the Cast Member has to manually apply the discount specially and usually has to see the card and see it being used. This hasn't happened all the time but I have just gotten into the habit of showing my card every time.
Don't forget to experience the
Disney Character Experience just for Disney® Visa® Cardholders! The characters are always a surprise as they do rotate but I have great photos with Pluto and Mickey Mouse from past trips. Just head to the current location in EPCOT near
