I recently read s omething about express transportation, I was wondering exactly what it is,where to get and cost. Husband and I are both scooter users and maybe this service would be helpful. Thank you

    Hi Christine!

I have answered many questions about the new Express Transportation option that Disney has introduced recently. I have used it myself and have found it a great way to Park Hop on any given day.

This express service allows guests who hold a valid Park Hopper ticket to go from one Disney park to another without having to pass through the entrance and security queues again. Once you have arrived at your first park of the day you can simply enjoy what you want to do and then head to the Express Transportation area and get on a bus to take you to the next park. You will see a bit of the backstage areas of the parks so if that is going to ruin the magic then this is not the way to go. The buses will be able to handle guests using wheelchairs and scooters so that is not an issue.

The buses will run about every 30 minutes starting at 10am in the morning until park closings. The cost is $19 per person (ages 3 and above) and if you are going to use it more then one day then the length of stay pass at $29 is your better value. You can use this for up to seven days of your vacation.

You can purchase this special service at the park ticket windows, the park Guest Relations windows, Disney Springs Guest Relations, your resort lobby concierges, Swan and Dolphin ticket windows, and also right at the Express Transportation kiosks in the parks.

Although it is an added cost to your day it does make "hopping" so much easier knowing you don't have to stand once again in the lines for the entrances to the new parks or the security lines. The time you save means you can enjoy another attraction or two!
