    I recently read about the magic moment pins. Are they still available for purchase in the parks? My family is going in March and I would love to get one for each of the four kids in my group. Thank you for the great advice!

    Like your group, Melissa, my family loves to collect and trade Disney pins, and the Magical Moments Pin is certainly a fun, interactive one! Yet sadly, those pins are no longer available in the Disney parks.  They were a part of the 100 Years of Celebration which highlighted what would have been Walt Disney's 100th birthday year. The celebration ended in late 2002. I did see one of the pins available on eBay for about $7 + shipping costs, but I'm uncertain if the technology is still in place for the pins to work at the various attractions inside the parks. Your best option for picking a special pin for the kids in your group would be to go to the Official Pin Trading Site to shop. Then, you'll have a better idea of what you'd like to purchase before you get to the parks, or you can purchase them before you leave.  The site also has a list of places in the parks and resorts where you can collect or trade pins.  Have a magical vacation and happy pin trading!
