Recently read about the flag lowering ceremony at MK-as a veteran I would like to be part of this (23 yrs AF)-is there anyone I can reach out to-will be there from 11-15 Feb 13? Will be at DVC Boardwalk Villas. Thank You!

Hi Avedis, Thank you so much for this question. The Magic Kingdom Flag Retreat Ceremony is daily around 5:00 pm. They no longer take volunteers for this and will pick a guest randomly to help that day. My suggestion would be to go to Guest Relations in the morning and explain that it would be such an honor to be a part of this ceremony for you. The Cast Member may have some other suggestions or impute for you to see if it could work out the time you are there. I wanted to sincerely thank you for your service that you have done for our Country. I really hope you are able to be a part of the Flag Retreat Ceremony. Have a magical vacation, Avedis, and Welcome Home!
