I recently purchased a timeshare type thing with RCI. We are allowed to trade our week at our condo for a week at Disney (various resorts). Will we be granted the same privileges as other resort guests? Extra hours? ability to purchase dining plan? etc?

    Hi Melissa,

I'm so glad you asked this question.  Not long ago another guest asked me a very similar question so, as a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member myself, I called Member Services to get the official word on staying at Disney Vacation Club resorts using an RCI membership.  The fine Cast Member who took my call assured me that guests who trade into a stay at a DVC resort will enjoy all the benefits you mentioned in your question.  Because you will have a Key to the World card (room key) from a Disney-owned property, you may take advantage of Extra Magic Hours and free transportation to and from the parks.  You also may add a Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package.  You should call Member Services at (800) 800-9800 at least 48 hours prior to your arrival to do so.

Enjoy your stay at Walt Disney World and feel free to post additional questions for the Moms Panel if you need any more advice.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
